short in electrical
Here's the problem. Dash light out. Passenger side tail light out. Back seat reading lights out. Head light dummy sound out. I've got wht gauges tapped in to parking lights which worked fine for a year. Every time I change out the blown fuse under hood for tail light, when I turn the headlights on it blows again.
Anyone have suggestions or a remedy for this. Thanks for help |

it should be some short circuit between the fuse box under the hood adn the fuse box on the left panel. I got the same problem with that too.. the dash light and the rigth tail ligh is on the same circuit..it for sure. I did my by find the power wiire that was short and rewire the different one between two boxes, and It all worked. good luck with your then.

Try to think back on anything you recently installed/modified. I had the same problems, and my dash lights went out. Very fustrating. Everytime I popped in a fuse, it blew. I sat there and thought for a bit, and figured out that I just installed a new head unit a few days ago, and took that out. Seemed that one of the bare wires were touching the chassis. No-no. Covered up the bare wires and everything else worked fine!
Grab a beer and ponder for a few minutes. vu |
