i was going about 20 - 25 mph...but the snow was terrible last night, absolutely no visibility...i was on the highway and on a slight hill, a patch of snow or something made me lose traction and she just slipped, spun around and bam!

Lawd! Glad you weren't hurt.....I often read bout folks licving back East dealing with snow driving and I have no friggin idea what that is like, but I certaihly fell for you and all others who have to accept that as part of the weather package. Slipping & sliding a dn losing traction like you describe would have scared me shitless.....and I've already HAD my scare for 2008.

Your damage doesn LOOK too bad, good luck with the repairs!

the snow was so bad...and i don't usually drive on days like this, but i had to drop my sister home and she lives an hour or so upstate. when i got on the road it wasn't snowing yet...on the way home it was a different story.

my GF was scared to death...i had absolutely no response from the steering wheel, brakes...it just kept going...i was just glad that there wasn't anybody else on the road or else it would've been so much worse...she spun through 3 lanes, all the way from the left to the right...i probably would've cause a pile up on a regular day.

i'll let you know after i get my car fixed, cuz i found a good deal on some 20's before my accident...but just to let you know my 2 front rims came with some curbage (they came that way when i got my Legend) not noticeable when they are clean though, the back rims are fine...check the avatar for a pic of the front rim...

Sorry man--that sucks. I was driving home at 1030 last nite and felt my car drifting on the LIE a little. I have to say, it may be time to invest in a newer car with better road hugging/traction control features. I have a 92 that has NEVER let me down. But, newer cars and newer technology may have prevented an accident like yours.

Glad that you're okay. After all, it's just a car.

Eric
