I need a set of snow tires for my baby. I notice a complete set of used BFG's Winter Slalom's, ( Studded) size 225-60R16 for sale. The recommended tire size for my car is 215/55R16. Can I or should I put these tires on my car. Are they too high, or too wide? Will they affect my turning capabilities? Will I do the car any damage? I understand that they will change my speedometer such that I won't get the correct reading.
Comments/suggestions appreciated.

try Yokohama Guardex tires
I've been very happy with them so far (205/60/15). They were about $117 each (canadian $)
