Some issues...

Hi i own a GM daewoo Arcadia 1999 (I think it is a 1995 sedan.....)

Now as it is winter when I start up my car and and drive to my job (only about 5-6 minutes). When I put the car in park the rpms go from idle to 1500 again and again.

Sort of like the rpms are pulsing instead of just staying steady at the normal idle rpm.

Also when is it a good sign when I should replace the battery? I my car is relatively young....only 107000 km on it....about 66k miles.

Thanks..I have loads of questions and things I want to do to my ..legend...aka arcadia.

Also another question in Korea the Arcadia comes in 2 types the Arcadia Royal, and just the Arcadia. What is the difference? Where there 2 types of Legend sedans.....

Ok I better shut up now.....thanks in advance!

Ok I had some over heating with the same fluxing rpms.
So i popped the hood and i saw steam coming from a tiny crack on the radiator......

So um how much would a radiator cost stateside?

We had two models with different trim levels available.

Legend Coupe ---> L, LS
Legend Sedan----> Base, L, SE, LS, GS

Is their anything that these cars share with each other, besides the body?

Ok here is a new issue..maybe it is not an issue...

Ok when I check the overflow tank it is full even after driving for some time.

I mean it is over the max line. I filled it up to the max line a few days. When I filled it up, I first filled up the radiator, then proceeded to fill up the overflow which at the time was very low.

Now it is very full.....more full than when I filled it.

I overhear about...once a day nothing serious about 2 notches above the mid line.

I shut down my engine when this happens wait for about 5 mins then restart....after that I have no issues. Driving on the highway there have been no issues.

But city driving can cause a some overheating. So I am wondering is the issue more than just the radiatior leak?

I am not sure. Mine has a factory installed moon roof. Which I have very very rarely seen on any other arcadia's.

update....i added water (distilled) to the radiator.....heating (heater blowing nice warm air), however when I looked into the overflow...it was even higher!

What is going on? Is this a water pump issue?

So Daewoo Arcadia = Honda Legend

Okay, so Daewoo bought some old Legends, and sold them as 4-8 years newer than they are?
Or, did Honda make some just for Daewoo a few years after they discontinued the car?
Weird.

I would love to see some pictures of your car.
