Some leather seat sample pictures.
Here is what I have done so far. What I have noticed is the leather seats are very well made, better quality leather than OEM, softer more supple, and look better in terms of leather texure. However, since it is NOT OEM, there has been some very suttle differences between the two that made installation just a little more creative since it is not an exact mirror match. It is nothing of concearn, and it could very well be because of the two tone inserts. Anyway here is some of what I have done so far.
This is the headrest. I was able to do these while I was working the night shift on Friday night at work. It was fairly straight forward. However, you can see a little wrinkles, but I will tweek that a little, and also as the heat and wear take its place, I feel it will conform to the hearest foam shape much better over time. The leather is still brand new so it needs some time to take its shape. ![]() Here is the backseat bottom. This is the part that has a suttle difference in 2 spots near the back center, so it made mounting these particular points to the original points a little more difficult. Not really hard, but I had to use an extention wire to mount those particular springs. This is due to the fact that the patter of the grey insert section is straight back as you can see, however, the OEM insert section has a T shape, so the seam where you mount the springs is not in the exact location. This is for a Coupe though and may not neccessarily be true for the Sedan. Eitherway, it is not big deal. Again though, as the heat and wear set in I'm sure the leather will conform to the foam seat much better, although it already does a good job already. ![]() |

Looks nice ChrisK. I might have to invest in new leather eventually. Makes me wish mine was in bad condition so I'd have more of an excuse to get new leather
