someone explain to me how the helms manual works

okay okay i have a 93 LS sedan.

i want the helms that shows you how to perform repairs on the legend. but there's a service manual and a eletrical manual. now i'm doing some 93 to 95 wiring stuff and mods....so will i have to purchase the 93 helms and the 95 helms? or are the helms good for all years?

Not knowing your level of experience or what you are attempting to accomplish, this is difficult to answer. In most respects, the manuals for the early and late G2 Legends are similar, with exception of some of the options found on the later models like Traction Control and Tilt Steering. The earlier manuals, since their respective vehicles do not have these options, do not have the applicable pages.

Asian Mfgrs typically install wiring harnesses which are model specific. There is a bit of overlap if an accessory could be an option for another model. I am informing you of this as I don't know what plans you have formulated. Some of the wiring could have different color codes. I know for a fact that the replacement pigtail for the radio is not a direct color-coded one-to-one for the Bose system.

Most electrical manuals (I have not seen a Legend as I have never had a need for one) usually have larger schematics, as well as illustrations/photos showing the part in its respective location. Someone having a Legend electrical manual can provide more detail. The Service Manual has both sectional schematics (showing individual subsystems) as well as a whole car fold-out. The info is there, you just have work a bit harder for it.
