is the punch 2 channel??...what kind of box are you using..?? sealed, ported, bandpass, isobaric???? these things matter because of the type of box set-up.

if the amp is 2 channel 800watts a sealed setup will be insufficient....you will need a monochannel 800 watt setup and bridge the speakers....

the 2 channel 800 watt setup is perfect for ported, bandpass and isobaric...... but with isobaric you cannot bridge the connection,....because remember you need to reverse polarity in order not to cancell out the speakers.....

i've got an Isobaric box with dual 12 inch bazooka el series subs (NOT TUBES)....and a Bull*hit amp pushing 800 watts (2 channel)....this is a VERY good set up for me.....im settin off alarms all day long.....
