Question sunroof tilt diy

did this mod today and was wondering if it made any one else's glass stick in the backside when tilting ? I almost have to push it up to get the tilt ...

Your moonroof glass isn't aligned properly.
Unbolt the glass and realign it.

Good Luck,

You don't have to remove the moonroof glass to do the tilt mod.
That's what got you into trouble in the first place.

Now, you have to loosen the moonroof glass screws and align the glass
because it's misaligned.

you may need to adjust more forward, make sure the shimmy spacers are there and corectly installed. Eventhough it has an aligenment pin on each side you still want to center it correctly. Take your time for this type of diy, its simple but it takes time. Lube it too I lubeed mne also, considering that that mechinism hasnt moved that far at all in over ten years!!!

Let me know if that helps.

Sounds like it might just be a lube issue.

nah, SB Wooder is right, just stick some shimmys in there then bolt downt he glass. It happend to me and that worked. Also, clean up the rubber really well with alcohal then clean it with wd-40, just to make sure it doens't dry out. it works well for me --=Keith

Bro, just drill out the stops.
Don't remove your glass.
You won't have any fitment issues.
It's that simple.

Good Luck,
k.h.
