is this supposed to happen?

d4 light blinks after i start my car about 10 to 15 seconds later, and stays on the rest of the way, im hoping some thing is not hooked up right, i got a new tranny recently. d4 lght di not blikn before. also when i turn the key on to accessory, it does the same thing is it supposed t do this does it mean that some things not hooked up right, or does this mean thee is a tranny problem again. shifts kind of funny too.

Yes, your VSS, vehicle speed sensor, is going out. Very common and easy fix.

search for it.

d4 just means tranny problems, might not be vss... i think theres a sensor on the right side of the tranny that might not be plugged in.
