For the replacement bushings, they are radius arm bushings" the following numbers will work:
1. 51391-SCV-A03, Element and Odyssey newer models
2. 51391-S5A-A24, Civic earlier 2000 models

The outer cylinder (OC) replacement bushing have the about same Outer Diameter as the existing ones and will snugly fit in the housing. Now, the height of the OC is less, but the existing bushings have enough overhang to spare. The real modification is in the inner cylinder (IC) of the bushings, for in the replacements the IC overhang at both ends. One of the ends has to be sawn-off, flush with the OC. I did this with a hand saw, gloves, and patience. Then, the same sawn end needs to be drilled in a conic shape to ensure a snug fit of the lower suspension plate. This operation will require drill bit sized well above the common household sizes and holding attachments.

Gentlemen, I've been trying for over 45 minutes to post some digital images of the original bushings in the cross member housing and the replacement ones. However, I keep getting "Unable to move/copy file".

Any assistance is appreciated.

You need to use a hosting site like photobucket.com. If that don't work PM me and I will post them for you.

Your picture resolution may be too high to load.

Gentlemen, I could use some help here. I am trying to upload some images of the radius arm bushings to this forum with no luck at all. The images won't upload from my computer. I established a Photobucket account and have tried to do many uploads with no success at all. The image size has been reduced too, with the same results.

Any guidance is appreciated.

In photobucket, click on the green 'Upload' button at the top of the page, then on the next screen click on the 'Select photos and videos' and select what you want to upload. Once the upload is done, click on 'Save and continue to my album' and this will take you to your album. Now select a picture and click on the 'IMG code' and then do a paste on here.

I fail to follow how to accomplish this. And I've tried several different ways.

Once you get the option for the image codes, you wan to pick "direct link" iirc. They keep changing how you use photobucket. Stupid IMO.

Gentlemen,
a) "paste it here", but where? Do I attempt to paste it to the text area? Should I use the Image icon above? Or the Manage Attachments panel in the additional options below? I've used them all.

b) "direct link iirc" at Photobucket, what is that? The images in my Library keep changing numbers and the pages just "keep loading" to no end.

I guess no more images for me. Sorry.
