switch part number
anyone have the factory fog switch part number for a 1995 L sedan? Dealer here says cannot get the part anymore. I need a part number to confirm that they have the correct part number.
Just looking for switch part number for an L sedan (without TCS).

I ordered one online from Sunnyside Acura 3 months ago. It was the 08V31-SP0-S00F, which had the courtesy light knob adjustment on the left, and only the foglight switch on the right (no TCS).
It did not come with anything else, but that is all I needed. Cost was $16.

It'll come with the harness... I say you might as well get the switch with the TCS and courtesy light, makes the car look more complete and gives you options to add other items to those switches later with out messing with the interrior... --=Keith

I just received my switch a couple days ago and it came with the subharness. The switch is for a 94 LS coupe with TCS (#200H) and the 3 wires from the harness piggy back off the factory TCS harness. On the other end is a female harness that connects to a male that comes with the OEM fog kit. If you're not using and OEM kit, you'll just need to hook up the wires directly to the 3 terminals in the subharness (illumination, power, and ground) Since the L doesn't come with TCS, I'm not sure a subharness will be included so I don't know exactly how you'd run fogs to the switch. You may want to get the TCS harness for this reason alone. The switches are the same price regardless.
EDIT: Here's a thread that shows you how the subharness looks. BTW, when I ordered mine a couple weeks ago, I was told that there weren't too many left in the warehouses. So you may want to jump on this sooner than later if you're looking to get another switch. Last edited by Train : 05-18-04 at 09:55 AM. |
