Switching rearview mirrors...
Do you all think it would be possible to add a rearview mirror like the one in my TL? It has the auto dim feature and all it needs is a power wire connected to an accessory line and a ground...here are some pics!
By the way I can buy a brand new one at the dealer for only 70 bucks!! The only problem I can think of would be mounting the new base to our windshield... |

sure, all you need is that rearview mirror adhesive and be at least a minimum of electrically adequate (if it is a wiring harness, you will have to splice it).
I say go for it

if i were to do it i would prefer to go with a donnely mirror w/ compass and temp.
