Ventilation Fan Speed Weirdness
I've got a '95 Legend L without automatic climate control and the lowest fan speed on the dial is getting faster. Sometimes the fan runs at the low speed, but most of the time, the fan speed seems higher than it used to be. Am I imagining this, or is there something wrong that can cause the lowest fan speed setting to be higher than normal?
Back when I had a '94 Prelude with an infinitely variable fan speed control, a blown resistor was the cause --- but in that case the lowest setting stopped blowing at all.Any thoughts as to what the problem could be? Thanks!

When my fan died last summer (of course) It was running slow or not at all. When I took it apart to try to fix it one of the graphite brushes was worn down to the wire. This wire was the only electrical connection therefore not a good conductor. This caused intermittent function of the fan and could be your problem. Look up the tutorial on how to take the fan apart and try to diagnose the issue. Do it now while it is cold because when its hot a broken fan is no fun at all
