Post water pump DIY ???

I have already searched the forum for this.. Can anyone provide pics and a step by step for doing the water pump/timing belt job? I need to do this soon and am somewhat worried about the process. I want to put it back together properly and need torque specs and procedures that need to be done ie. remove power steering/belts/hoses etc.... I plan to do this on a weekend and am babying the car around now but want to do this ASAP. If someone has a scan from helms or something on this I would appreciate it. Thanks for all of your help.
BTW drive belts/timing belt/water pump and gasket kit from A of A is only $225!!!

I havent ordered/paid for it yet. do I need a new crank bolt? please someone give me the play by play if possible on this. I cant afford the $1500-$2000 for a repair shop to do it.
thanks

thank you soOOO much!!! I saved it all to my computer and will print/use it as soon as I get the parts. I feel better now that I have diagrams/directions. This should really be in the 2nd gen FAQ

Holy crap thanks for the info and pics. Even with that I don't think I could handle the job. I did the clutch, tie rod ends and springs on my Mustang GT, but I never did too much engine work. My luck I would f*ck something up and be out even more $$.

If ordered the parts from A of A how much would labor be for a dealer or independent shop? I am @ 81,300 mi and will need to be worrying about this soon.

Timing belt DIY: comments, etc.

There's a little info, I can answer some questions when you get into it. You're gonna want to take the intake assembly (filterbox to throttle body), radiator, battery, and misc vacuum lines off to get a clear working space. Also note that there's a water pump bolt hidden behind the right cam gear cover. Found out about that the hard way, cracked my old pump thinking everything was off.

Independents for labor would be around $450-500. You supply all parts. I would also recommend changing the Crank/Cyl Sensor just to be on the safe side.
