Rear windows do not function from drivers control

Hello,

Due to my forum name I recently purchased a 2006 RL and I just noticed today that the driver's controls for the rear windows do not seem to be working. The windows function from the individual controls on each respective door but not from the driver's door. Has anyone else experienced this issue or is there some type of revers window lock where the passengers can lock out the driver's controls ? ( doesn't seem to make much sense )

This happened in my legend =/
It did get fixed but it can be many problems why

1. check fuses?
2. check wires from master switch to slave switches make sure no open wires or broken ends
3. check connections on all switches to see if they are connecting, the prongs could be broken
4. master switch could be going bad

To resolve your problem just go to the back windows and lower window and hold switch down for 4 seconds and raise them again holding the switch again for 4 seconds. Do that for each side and your problem should be resolved. I had the same problem before someone pointed that tip to me. The path just needs to be re-learned by the cars computer and your master switch should work as good as new. :O)

Worked like a charm and I applied the same technique to the front windows and the sunroof, now my FOB will open them all at once when I hit unlock twice and hold it. Sweet !
