absolutly amazing. good form man good form. but, i think the RL doesnt sell because the salespeople dont know what they are selling. for example. when i was working at acura in detail, i only knew 1 salesman who knew everything about the acura RL. he told me about the speaker under the car that will cancel out any noise from the road, via the regular speakers in the car, thus reducing the weight of the car, due to no heavy sound profing, making it the lightest, and potentialy the fastest car in its class. if you really look into the tech that acura decided to go with next to the others, the RL is one of the better alternative higher class sedans.

Wow. That's innovative. I always thought the carbon fiber driveshaft was the only special exotic thing about it.

I can't believe I read every single post in this thread. It's a great discussion.
I think marketing strategy plays a factor. I'm not sure how much Acura has invested in that marketing for the RL, but I would be shocked if it was anywhere near where what they invested in for the TL/TSX. The RL might be the top of the line Acura, but it's clearly not the Acura signature model. Also Acura has stayed true to their style, but the design just isn't good enough. |
