F/S Dell Inspiron XPS 1st Gen Gaming Laptop
Hey, guys. I'm about to head into school so it's time to sell a few of my toys to get a more powerful rig. I haven't done all the config work to this machine as of yet, but I'm putting it up on here first to let you guys on the forum have a chance on it.
I'm selling my Inspiron XPS Gen 1 laptop; the first XPS gaming notebook released by Dell. The specs are as follows: 3.4GhZ Pentium 4 processor (the actual desktop chip; not a mobile) 1GB PC3200 RAM 120GB 5400RPM HDD 15.4" widescreen LCD display; 1920x1200 native resolution internal Gigabit Ethernet and 56K modem Internal wireless card DVD and CD writer drive 4x USB 2.0 ports 1x Firewire port 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9800 video card(the best video option for these) The machine is in great shape and works well out of the box. I have used this for gaming and general use for about six months. The battery still holds a charge, but due to the fact that this laptop guzzles juice, the charge lasts maybe 30-45 minutes. It's also pretty big and heavy, and definitely one that stays on a desk when in use. The screen has no dead pixels but has minor keyboard marks as well as 1-2 small scratches. These aren't noticeable when the laptop is running, however. The XPS is built for gaming, and for its specs it does pretty well. While it's too old to run, say, Crysis, it does a flawless job on Source games(Half-Life 2, CS: Source, etc) and it will run Stalker pretty well at decent graphics settings. It's also powerful and plenty fast for most other apps as well. I am including a fresh installation of Windows XP Home on the hard drive, and providing the original OS and a new driver disc with it. In addition, I have an empty second hard drive bay(fits where the DVD drive goes) and the original, hard to find XPS laptop backpack. I am asking $800 or best reasonable offer, plus shipping. If anyone has any questions feel free to PM me or respond to the thread. I will have pics up in a few days, when I have enough time when work slacks off.

Doing a little bit of a bump, and I'm providing the pics I promised earlier.
I need to get this thing sold soon; I'll be putting it on the local Craigslist within a week, and possibly eBay a little later on. Edit: I just freshly installed the OS and some of the application software I found. The laptop is ready to go at any time. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() These two screenshots are proof it has the 3.4Ghz P4 processor as well as the MR9800 video card: ![]() ![]() The second HDD bay as well as the included backpack: ![]() ![]()
