Seattle Meet 4/27/08

First I want to say thank you to everyone who attended the meet, for many of us it was our first and It was the first meet that myself and Richard(xpressive) have put together. We had a great turnout- 12 cars IIRC including Dr. Dave's 91 NSX! We talked cars for nearly 2 hrs before headong out to Zoopa for lunch- the wait was just too long at the cheesecake factory. From there we went down the street to Acura of Seattle and took pics or the 4 white coupes in front of the show room. From there a smaller group of us headed up to Alki in seattle where we were met with rain in typical seattle fashion. That didn't stop us from snapping some great pics though. All in all it was a great meet and I'm sure everyone had an enjoyable time.

With that I bring you the meet pics. To anyone else who took pics, please add them to the thread to share!

Thanks to everyone! The turnout was definitely better than I had expected, but we'll have to get someone in a 5/6 speed out next time! On the way home SuperLegend91 V2.0 and I got treated to a turd in his Ferrari looking to race (no such luck in the rain). Looking forward to doing this again, hopefully with a new front end next time though. Here are some of the pics that I took (untouched).

This is actually Chris (SBWOODER) I am just using Dave's computer before I go back to Yakima tonight

This was a terrific meet, I think we had a great turn out with great legend folks too. The day went by pretty quick. From mall parking lot, to Zoopas, to Acura of Seattle, to the I5 and bridge cruise, the loading dock and finally a curbside break. It was all well worth it.

Here are some of my best shots, I am sure others have some terrific pictures too.

Of course our Legends are following the leader, the NSX.
This made for a pretty cool looking line up.

Okay guys here you go. I had a great time. This was the first outing of the new NSX. I still miss having my Coupe' here. The Coupe' should be done in two weeks. I will probably drive the NSX to Logan Utah and pick up the coupe'. The NSX needs a little work done on the front spoiler. The lip was removed by the previous owner or a tall speed bump. It was nice to meet so many new people.

We rolled into Acura of Seattle with just over a half-a-million-dollars in vehicles (price when new) and got a cool (frigid) reception. Apparently we were in the way. The main guy came out and said you won't be long. It was not a question.

Here is a picture of a happy guy.

This was a great day. The word at lunch was a ferry boat cruise for the next meet.

The guy was probably bummed that you rolled onto his lot with 4 of the coolest body-lined cars Acura ever made and that he doesn't own one!!
He should have been happy to see such clean 13+ year old cars!! Gives an indication of what is possible with real Japanese constructed vehicles.

Awesome meet! It was great to meet everybody. I wish I had been able to make it all the way to Alki though... Even the drive up the I-5 corridor was worth being late =p

Hahaha we had 7 Legends and an NSX. quite the lineup. They weren't impressed though =p
