Here is a link you maky have interest in Spark Plug Answer Directly From NGK - good info
Now I was wondering more about fuel efficiency. You can go to NGK's website and send an email question about performance and they will send you an answer within an hour or so (during normal business hours). .

NGK V-power
No reason to spend a bunch of money on plugs.

I just put NGK vpower plugs in my 93 ls. Believe it or not, the original plugs were in there(Denso) I also replaced the air filter. There is a noticable improvement in performance! I was getting 20.8mpg before, we'll see what I get now. $33 for the filter and plugs and about an hours worth of time. By the way, the car has 199,000 miles on it. I just purchased the car in Oct. 07. Next up is the fuel filter and trans. mount. Just need to find a used at mount.

^ you may not get too many answers posting in a thread not about the same topic as your question...with that said, I have an answer for you...so I guess your way worked for you
try ebay. I purchased a center cap on ebay for the G2 rims.....otherwise call around to junk yards or click this link for JunkYardDog.com Used Auto Parts. You fill in your car information and select what you are looking for and fill out some info. Then junkyards contact you via email. I had luck with this for other parts. welcome to the forum. .

and is a in forum etiquette. Do a search in the OEM parts/Parting out sections of the forum and if you don't find anything then post up a thread of your own. GL with finding your part.OP...in my amateur mechanical experience the only benefit of the iridium plugs is that they last longer than copper, and marginally longer than platinum (in my old A4). I use iridium plugs currently and there is no difference in power and very small difference in fuel economy (bl420 is right it's only because they are newer, not 'better'). Next time around I would probably go with platinum (similar longevity, but cheaper). The only plugs that even have the potential to give you more 'power' are the newer 'pulsed' plugs. But I am personally still not convinced on that technology yet, especially when it's being used with 'normal' gas (not 100+ racing fuel). Perhaps GSM and other more mechanically experienced members will have more info on these plugs. BUT, they are $125 or so for a set for the Legend which (to me) makes them not worth it at all. EDIT: Read pgs 2-3. Tech Info - Spark Plugs Overview

I've always used NGK Iridium IX plugs in my Legends. Like Samblaze said, they aren't noticeably better but they last for a long time.

The 'pulsed' plugs are more of the same nonsense. Honestly you're better of changing copper core plugs twice as often and pocketing the $30-100 difference in price. All the pulse plug is, really, is a secondary coil inside the plug...it's like those 'booster' plug wires they used to sell. If you want better ignition performance, buy an MSD, run regular copper core plugs, and skip the Pulstar plugs.
MOST platinum plugs at the auto parts stores (i.e. bosch) have tiny electrodes, which is counterproductive IMO...but they're cheaper to manufacture. Platinum is harder to foul, but with such a small amount of surface area, when they start to foul, performance decreases significantly. Also I've had a lot of the insulators on the bosch plugs break...inside of motors. I wouldn't put them in anything...in fact if I know they're in something I'm working on, I insist of changing them. I've found that in high horsepower applications that spark blowout is actually more common with the Iridium plugs. Once again it's a small electrode. Multi-ground plugs, like platinum +4 and Zex nitrous plugs are more of the same nonsense. The spark is going to travel the path of least resistance, every single time, so it is likely the plug will favor one firing path. What does this mean? More metal hanging around in the combustion chamber to create hotspots and possibly detonation. I like the NGK V-power plugs. They have designed the ground strap with a recess to allow for a fuller spark upon discharge. Also unlike many of the other more modern (yipee) plugs, you can gap them...a big plus in my book.
