I'm not sure, actually. I don't have an EGR but my mileage seems to be pretty spot-on with the original specs provided.

yes it does because it recirculates exhaust gas into the engine to help in the combustion process and makes it more efficient however by circulating hot gas it hurts your hp since you want the coldest possible air going into your engine.

lol if you want better fuel economy just make sure its cleaned out and not clogged like most are. if you want more power just leave it clogged or get an egr block plate haha

telion on a type 2
93 type 2 6 speed. Telion's been great to work with I have both the bayou and telion's chip. I felt that the Telion chip may be a bit stronger at the high end but the bayou feels like it pulls better for everyday driving. Been meaning to get back to you telion do you have sr5guy's stage 3 program? I still need to send back your ecu and my chip since it wasn't programmed for tcs.
I wish we could have that collaborative test like we had back in the old forum days. I think all our cars would be better for it. I'd be willing to throw down a little cash so we could dyno all 4 chips side by side on the same car. How much would four dyno pulls cost? If we could pool some cash together maybe we could get it done. |

Additionally, I had to clean out the IM, because of all the gunk that is deposited in the manifold. Totally useless. -Ed

The EGR block plate should keep the EGR pipe and the bottom of the IM clean once cleaned. It takes a long time for that gunk to accumulate. ~Dv8
