True on your chip in comparison to a stock chip on your car, there is certaily no dispute as to the benefits of advanced timing throught the powerband with your specific mods. I actually have his chip on file. And anyone who may ask no please do not ask I will not provide an SR5guy chip out of respect and to him. I can say on the other hand where there are areas on each the 3.5 and the 3.2 where advanced timing is not the best way to go with the mods that the majority of the forum has. DV8 said it best a car specific tune on the street and a dyno is the best way to go, we are each just providing something that fills the void for those that do not have the time, money, equipment or desire to do so.
+1
I don't really appreciate the subtle downplaying of the gains experienced as eric has only bolt on mods. One thing you didn't notice is that the Legend ECU does a GREAT job at keeping up with the fuel needed without any modification to the fuel maps.
A tune is definetly car and mod specific, thats why I (and I hope Telion) provide relatively conservative maps for the masses. I'm certain neither of us would want to be responsible for blowing up someones motor. I have your chip on file too!
Fuck the chips, lets get this fucking ECU to support boost
I will second that and Matt in all reality you know when the time comes (and it is coming) you will be getting an IM for assistance. and you can nix the hope part in that sentence as there is only one chip ( not a variation I mean a single chip) out there that is more agressively mapped than yours and it has done very well for over two years. but the mpg sucked.

Cool, I would like to send a few variations to you to see which works best for a car with light mods as this is a great opportunity to determine what is really best for the TI if you don't mind. Also could you PM me the PY3 code to the ECU you are going to be using if it is not the one you are sending?

Hmm, being that all three may show gains in different areas potentially and I was hoping you could run a couple variations of chips to create a better chip and get closer to an optimal chip but this will be a good start none the less. Can you let me know the date you have set? and I would really like to know if you could send me your PY3# . . .
I would be sifting through this> Private Messages: Unread 3, Total 7203.

it all depends on what everyone, wants power or better fuel consumption, but if we can get both im sure the ecu masters can figure out something to help us guys out
Wonder if we could use the different stages like APR or GIAC and switch on the fly.. For those that are not familiar:
I want to do this with my TypeII Auto someday. I have the Bayou chip in it right now, and a spare stock ECU. Maybe a few months down the road since she's finally getting back into normal shape
