What To Buy to Color Light Bulbs Blue

Im getting indiglow guages and need to know what can i use to buy to spary paint or even paint, the light bulbs blue that will give it a good blue light when its lighted.

I'll be coloring the gear selector bulb, as well is the dome, lights, as well as the A/C Heater Bulb Lights, as well is the Dash lights.


I checked with JOanns Crafts and etc.. but not sure what product to buy taht will be heat resistant as well as a blue color! let m eknow! holla!

I would just buy blue bulbs, you can find most of them at your local auto parts store, not sure about the in dash lights, might have to go with LED's.

it's gonna be better to just replace all those bulbs, anything you color is going to eventually burn off. It's not that hard though, I changed out all the bulbs you're talking about looks much better now....look for the thread about an led dash actually there are a couple of them, but I know I answered what bulb types you'll be needing....good luck!

i went to autozone and picked up 2x the blue bulbs
part #194, the same as the side corner light bulb, and they fit into the rear gauge cluster mauahhah! the reason i only bought 2 because i wasn't sure if it'll fit. when it did. i just installed the whole thing back in.

now i'm lazy to pull it all back out and buy 2 more news and put it in ahhah!

all our 2nd gen legend have blue diffusers already installed so if you replace your interior (amber) bulbs with white LED's they will shine an almost identical color to the indiglos. Check the "Best indiglo guages ever" thread in the main 2nd gen. forum. Hope this helps.. its cheap, easy, and looks VERY flush.

Parting out a 91 L 5-speed, let me know if you need any parts besides engine and 5-speed parts. The car is Rosewood brown with type E cloth interior.
