Nice runs! Curious as to what your 60" foots were on the non-nitrous? Best I've done on my auto I think is around 2.35s - got some wider front tires to help with the grip now, but they are a little heavier. Watching that made me wanna head to the track soon!

2.2 is about as good as I've managed, the torque converter is the major barrier.

Wow, I'm really impressed. I know the torque converter on the Legends is around 2k/rpm. Is that about the same for the RL? I know Upnorthacme got a low 2.3" on an auto doing a neutral drop, but I'm not about to attempt that ever. With 205/65/15s I definitely had some slight traction issues, and I know the RL's tires are wider and you have a lot more low-end torque - which are definitely helping. Any advice/tips?

Ed,
Thanks! Stall is 2300rpm. I would say no to the neutral drop, converters are cheaper than transmissions. Actually a taller tire, as opposed to a wider tire makes much much more difference. Aside from running 18psi in the tires, and trying to progressively load up the torque converter, so the trans 'catches' sooner...I talked about all that in my Guide to Racing at the Strip, it's here. For another 200-300rpms I'd do it for sure. I'm going to look into it.

Supercharged Mach 1. It was a procharger D1SC I think. The driver was absolute shit, I rolled him a couple of times. His daughter ran the car later in the day and she was rocking the house.
