Alpine CD Changer Issues

So I just realized how long I've had this CD changer, for 5 years. Now it's starting to give me some problems.

It seems after song 10 or later on burnt CDs it won't play the song or skips really bad. It usually happens around song 12 or 14.

I don't get why it would be skipping, or not playing at all at certain song numbers. These are the same CDs I've used for a long time, so they have worked and I tested them on other CD players and they work.

So my question is, can I clean out the CD changer anyway or is there something I can do to fix it? Thanks.
