cd changer question

I have been planning on buying the Alpine CD changer to add to my stock radio. Has anyone bought a changer that is not Alpine that can be wired into the headunit like maybe a Pioneer or Sony? Is there any difference in sound quality?

Only alpine M-bus changers will work with the stock Bose headunit.

Thanks for the reply. The unit is for an L model though. Will any aftermarket changer work through say an FM modulator?

The L or LS or GS makes no difference in terms of CD-changer, all are prewired for it.

any FM modulator will work, but just less quality sound
