changer question
i have an acura changer that i was planning on having installed (after the jvc changer is taken out of my car). the thing is, i don't know if the place that installed the jvc changer in my car got rid of the oem wiring for the cd changer. i don't want to have to get new wires from acura just incase and i don't want to waste my money on installation of the cd changer without even knowing if the wire is still there and finding out they won't be able to complete the job. i was thinking about going for an alpine cd changer and just selling my acura one. if i do that, can i still use my oem bose headunit (i know you can if you have the acura wires, you just need the adaptor)? i would just be using the alpine cord that comes with the changer. i don't want to have to use the fm modulator though. i just want to control the changer functions from my headunit.... thanks, raky...

Pull the trunk liner up on the side of the change and see if it is still there. If it is...you can use the OEM changer or the Alpine (CHM) changer with the adapter. The OEM headunit will control either.
