factory cd changer question

i think this question may have been asked several times but can't find it in the forum.my factory cd changer doesnot play cd-r's ( i think) because i burn cd and try to play them and i dont work, is there any kind of cd-r's that the changer can play? i really was not ready to put in the pioneer 9200 that i have from my old car yet, but i think i may have to? thanks

the stock changer can play sony audio cds
I use those they really work for me
