Grrr
i've used search so please dont bash.
ok i finally gotten the guts to put subs in my car. problem is, i dont know where to stick the power cable that hooks up the the battery. there is no hole in teh firewall. so please help me G1's or whoever is a pro at audio hookups!! o i have two memphis twelve's and a 1000 memphis amp.

turboviper has some great pics of his install, he ran it through a hole that has a plastic air tube running through it on the passenger side.
I rummaged some of his images and found a few pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() hopefully that'll help a bit if u do some searching now that u know the location. turbo could better explain but i believe he's been busy lately

oh and how long does the power cable have to be? i have 9 feet. and my car is a sedan.

i think i got about 22 feet of power cable, and i had about 4-5 feet left over.
also, the air tube can be found if u unscrew the black cover that is down in the passenger footwell. it has like 4 or 5 screws, its the black cover beneath the glove box. you'll see the tube that is pictured above when u remove that cover and it should be pretty easy to go from there once u have the location down

Just so you're on the safe side, get 4 gauge wire. On the installation i had a custom shop do my subs and amp because i didn't want to go through that whole firewall issue. Good luck on your installation!
