Have a duel hu with new rear 2 ohm bose speakers; popping when changing buttons, and think I need to install a line coverter to hu and amp so can have the correct sound. I heard this was simple but cannot find any help on connecting anywhere. I am getting the shosche slc4. Thanks

in addition to the schoshe adapter, you need a wiring harness specific to your car which can be found at walmart.
just follow the directions provided with the LOC and match the colors up. the hardest part for me was finding a place to hide it behind the radio when installing a dd. |

Most low end HU's make popping noises when yourn turn them on or push a button. I know this from experience.
If you havent bought the SLC4 then don't bother and get the PAC-OEM2 instead. It is much easier to wire it in. You simply connect the speaker wires from the HU to the input side of the unit (by matching colour) and the output wires from the unit hook up to the factory harness (again by matching colours). ![]() The SLC4 works that same way but in this case, you connect the wires from the HU harness to the input (top side) of SLC4. For the output, you have to splice from RCA wires and connect the RCA end to the output end of the unit and the stripped end connects to factory harness - no color coding in this case so you have to figure out the polarity yourself.
