hid question?.. please help

Hey guys,
I have a question... i have 2 bosch ballasts from a bmw ( like this one: eBay Motors: bosch al ballast, wiring, igniter. perfect, hid retro (item 230277990049 end time Aug-10-08 18:22:18 PDT) ) ... now instead of using the D2S/D2R bulbs ... i wanted to convert this to KET connector (the same connectors used on the regular aftermarket kits) and use some kind of 9006 aftermarket bulbs to make the install nice and easy

... will this ballast work with the aftermarket 9006 bulbs... such as this one? (maybe someone can recommend me some bulbs?) eBay Motors: HID Xenon bulb all 800 series 9005 9006 9007 9008 6K 8K (item 160268150393 end time Aug-05-08 16:56:21 PDT)

yes, those will work, and I recommend getting 4300k temp lights. I got 6000k and was disappointed at how blue they really came out.

secondly, I recommend retrofitting, it will cut down on glare. HIDplanet.com/forums is your source for lots of information.

thanks.. i would love to retrofit projectors.. but i dont have time for the job.. are there any bulbs you would recommend getting.. any idea how reliable these cheap ones will be with the oem bosch ballasts?

$35 for the pair isn't so bad, and they come with a 2 year warranty (i think I read). wouldn't hurt to give them a try, beats paying $50+ for OE ones.
