Lightning Audio or Rockford Fosgate?

Merry belated Christmas to everyone and Happy Holidays.
At Best buy, there is a deal on Lightning Audio setup. You get a 450watt max power amp and 2 300watt subs along with the box all for 180$. is Lightning Audio good stuff? or there will be a sale on RF stuff next month for 250, same setup. which is better?

I believe Lightning Audio is made by RF.
Also you should look at RMS power ratings, not max.

You get what you pay for...........personally I wouldn't buy either brand.

What are you looking to get, how much are you willing to spend ?

Fosgate is decent. I have a fosgate 500.1 amp and its rms birth sheet is 720 watts. THe fosgate is only my temporary amp but it has held up and pumps very nicely.

U wouldnt buy either brand? i thought RF was pretty good. well i am looking to spend the least amount possible because i am looking for just some good all around sound, nothing really earth thumping. I looked and for some decent stuff, it will cost 3-345 w/o about 100$ worth of wires. This 180 deal is lookin real good. ANy more suggestions?
