IMHO stick with all alpine. i love my alpine typeR's front component and rear's like u pointed out.

I run mine off a alpine 345V12 amp, sounds amazing.

I know ppl say alpine is "off the shelf/over the counter" equipment but they are awesome, great quality, sound great.

let me ask you, whats the point of running a 1200w amp for 300w of speakers?

Alpine MRA-F350 Car Audio Amplifier - eBay (item 120285486379 end time Jul-26-08 22:11:52 PDT)

more then enough to run what he needs. if u think its a little low, they ahve a 400 and 450 and 500 units. i run my setup off the older 345 and its JUST right.

I got Focal Audio all around on my GS and by far the best set of car audio speakers I have ever owned and I've owned all the major brands in the past. Loved them so much I just installed Focal's on my Accord and they deliver rich moderate bass and highs with no amplifier and the sound is incredible for being stock.

Ah. I was under the guise that EACH speaker was 300. Not 300 for the four of them. My bad! :p

I concure! They help produce great clean crisp sound and are also one of the few makers of Class-D 4-channel amps, which consume minimal power. I have the MRP-F240 and its great.

I use only Zapco and McIntosh amps in all of my vehicles. I suggest those. Although they are pricey they are by far some of the best amps I've ever used.

Polk speakers are pretty good, but out of all the brands I've heard, my favorite is MB Quart then Alpine. The clarity on MB Quarts is ridiculously clean at all volume levels.
