94 L with bose
hey wuts up mike and other folks i got a question when i researched on the forums of what speakers to use with my bose deck on my 94 6spd coupe L model (no power passenger seat or seat warmers) it said that bose uses 2 ohm speakers but on the page provided by mike... read the 3rd line says bose uses 4 ohm which is regular speakers whats up ?? i think my speakers are replaced in my coupe and they dont sound right.. the right side is lower in volume than left not alot of bass when the volume gets higher has after market front tweeters
1991-1995 L Bose - Hum/static when headlights are on. Hear the RPM's of the motor with volume control turned down. (in stereo) Bose - Does not have external amplifier behind rear seat. Bose - Uses 4 Ohm speakers 61/2" fronts, 6X9's in back, also tweeters in rear. Rear window panel does snap off, not the speaker grills, they stay hooked to the panel. Bose - Vibration (bass) from rear. We used foam rubber under speaker to help from speaker rattling everything back there. Maybe just tighten down speaker, whole rear panel snaps up. Still working on weak AM problem. Tape decks that won't eject (in stereo) Volume control that won't turn with steering wheel control. (in stereo) Tape decks that play at the wrong speed (in stereo) Static or speakers cut out when turn volume control. (in stereo) Speakers or channels that cut out over bumps or are totally out. (E-mail us with specifics) Temperature related problems, after warms up or cools down. (E-mail us with specifics |

Legend Stereo Repair
Has anyone used Willman's Electronics? Pretty entensive Web site. They say any amp over 6-8 years old should/needs to be rebuilt. My stereo just hums loud - AM-FM, vol up or vol down. Could it be a fuse? Any ideas? Thanks

Legend Radio Help
I posted a Ground help alert in another post, but no one helped so maybe I can get some love here. I have a 91 Legend L Sedan and after replacing my sparkplugs I am now getting rpm pulsing noise in the radio. The tape is good but the radio is horible in some weaker stations. What can be the cause?
I am also preparing to replace the front speakers. What kind should I get since I have the stock Acura tape-deck?

So a '93 Legend "L" should have an amp behind the rear seat? In the trunk or behind the trunk panel? My system currently sounds "JACKED UP!!!" <Insert your best Tom Jackson voice here>

DSTRONG722 & BigRed... The factory bose amp is located directly behind the drivers side rear back seat. It is only accesible by removing the rear seat.
DSTRONG722... I suggest you recheck your connections cuz regardless of the headunit, you should still hear sound from the speakers. |
