do any body know why theres four wires going to each of the rear speakers a big and small wire on the +(pos) and same with the -(neg) side im installing a Infinity Basslink powered sub not sure if i should tap in the big wire or the small or both also should i tap before factory amp or after thanks for any help you can give

Bro, Not too rain on your idea.... I would just change out the whole system, you will not be able to get the power that you want using the factory amp, even with that sub having it's own Amp to power it, that is if you bought the amo that goes to that sub. The amps on the Premium set up are 200 watts in total, which is 50 watts per channel, cutting into that amp will degrade the sound.

if you want to keep the headunit, there are ways to change the amp and keep the head unit with the steering wheel controls from the factory headunit.

Anyway, Good luck with your plan, I hope that it works out for you, Trust me, I tried that route and hated each step that I took and the money it cost me.... But you may have better luck...

They're wired that way because the woofer is wired in parallel with the tweeter.

As such, what you're seeing is actually

amp +(pos) ---(wire 1)--- woofer +(pos) ---(wire 2)--- tweeter +(pos)

amp -(neg) ---(wire 3)--- woofer -(neg) ---(wire 4)--- tweeter -(neg)

I figured out which wires went where on my setup via guess and check... Wish I had more for ya but if you can trace the wires, you should be able to figure it out. For best results, you probably want to tap wires 1 & 3 (those wires between the woofer and the amp)
