What 6.5 speakers did you use?

Has anyone installed a different brand type of speakers for the front door panels 6.5's? Thought about replacing the bose with some aftermarket, but usnure which will be a perfect match. didn't have time to pull out the ruler and measuring tape to get an exact measurement and fit. hopefully asking here would be a lot faster.

I use Seas Lotus. Had to make custom baffles for them.

You might not need to though because my mids are deep and they have different mounting styles than conventional speakers.

I got the infinity Kappa series (2 ohm) so I don't have to change the amp yet. Wasn't happy that I had to figure out what to do with the externally mounted crossover.... Sound is very different also, not as much midrange and much more bright...(I got the two way, don't know if the three way would have been better or not...)

Hey Fut, does Boston Acoustics make any 2 ohm speakers or did you convert to 4 ohm? (I like Boston Acoustics...)

For the 6x9's and the 6.5's any modification made to have the speakers fit in perfectly like oem? Because i know some of the 6x9's do not fit right into the rear, and you have to modifiy it.
