what is up with this sound system

When i first got my 92L sedan last year, the speakers sounded aiight. I first noticed that that the head unit would come with some distortion on after a few seconds of turning on the car . Now both my rear speakers quit working on me. I beleive all four speakers are original factory bose.

Do i need to replace my headunit or just the four speakers.
What brand aftermarket speakers would be a perfect fit for my car with little mod?

Any help would be appreciated.

are you hearin disortion or nothing?

if you hear disortion, you have a blown speaker. if you hear nothing and you did nothing. its the head unit.

good luck

If it's the speakers, which I think it is. I would change them all out. I'm running Infinity and they sound great. 6x9's and 6.5's about 90 a pair. They weren't a perfict fit but I managed to make them work with no problem. I have also disconnected my intire Bose system and went all aftermarket which is a whole lot easier than tring to work things into the Bose amp.

Yeah, I don't hear any distortion. The back speakers are just a dud. I guess I'm gonna have to replace Headunit and the speakers.
