maybe try some boston acoustics all the way around running off a 4 channel. I love alpine HU's so perhaps one of those for an HU. They come in all different price ranges so like you choose whats good for you. For subs maybe try looking at JL audio, eclipse, or kicker. I would try not to go overboard witht he sub or subs to the point where you are going to need a cap or better battery though because thats what is going to put you over your budget. Maybe a setup like this:

Boston acoustics SL60 6.5" components up front
Boston Acoustics SL95 in back
Alpine MRP F300 200 watt 4 channel amp (or something of comparable power)
Alpine cda 9883 HU
JL Audio 12" W6v2 sub
JL Audio 500/1 amp
Build your own sub box or buy one... up to you
4 ga. Wiring kit & distribution block
When you get more cash you might want to sound deaden the trunk but that up to you.

for 1200$ I think that setup would be within range. You wont be able to buy all that stuff at MSRP of course.. I suggest buying off the internet somewhere.. I just looked all that stuff up on the internet right now and did some rough addition based on what I found its around 1200$ maybe a little under. In the end its whatever makes you happy and I just picked stuff out real quickly.

well if you want the forum discount make sure to go through me.. not the company themselves.. otherwise you'll be payin retail.

of course even at retail those 50$ 13kv's are pretty sweet. if 12's are your thing that is..

i say. get one of those. a 9.five amp. run some DLS components full active up front ( don't use the included crossover. 4 speakers. 4 channels. all up front. and that 5th channel will push one of those subs to the moon.)

even at retail, less than 600 bucks and you've got front stage amp and sub.

Go with kicker cvr 12's. Sound amazing..pioneer or alpine head unit for sure..or you could just get the head unit and spend the rest in the motor
