forum seperation, sub forums, by state

i want to know if there could be like a way we could have rooms for each state, just like how we have peformance sub forums but, instead have for eaxmple, AL-MD, AL-UT, AL-AT, that way people can chat with locals to discuss what ever, problems meets and all. just hate the idea i have to seacrh the whole forum to talk to locals. So what do yall think?

Bimmerforums.com has a nice regional layout... maybe it could be used as a basis for our own similar layout?

there's been regional forums offsite setup for those particular places. From what i've noticed regional Area Sub Forums don't get a lot of traffic. and that'd be more places we'd have to keep watch over. I'm not feeling the idea, there's a Southern, as well as Tristate/North Eastern/Washington area forum that i'm aware of that keeps the Eastern seaboard on lock. you can create your own Forum for each regional area if you'd like.

i think a search feature for regions would be better. that way u can find members in your area for meets and such. ive suggested that before

well i think that we should not have to search for locals. it would make more members pull together and then when its time, we will all meet. when i first joined i felt like i was the only member on east coast, not good, but now i know in person about 4 people, but other than that it sucks and i know that there are at least 20 other people from the forum in a 20 mile radius, look at all the members.

Who do i need to talk to to get this done?
