Anyone else keep the task bar at the top or am I alone?
Okay for about 3 years now when ever I use a pc the first thing I do is move the task bar to the top. It seems logical for it to be at the top since everything else is done at the top. You close programs at the top, save files, your favorites are at the top and most programs have all thier options at the top so why do people insist on having the task bar reside at the bottom of the screen?
It drives me freeking crazy It feels so counter productive I cant even use a computer when the task bar is at the bottom. |

I leave it on bottom but never touch it...
I leave some programs I need open (Steam, Ventrilo, mIRC) I have a big mousepad so it's not a problem to open Opera Then on the mac... oh wait, no taskbar. =p |

Start bar at the top. All frequently used icons get moved to the quick launch (no more than 20), All frequently used web addresses get moved to the LINKS toolbar and added to my start bar. ALL ICONS REMOVED FROM DESKTOP. So I can show off and enjoy whatever wallpaper I have displayed.

What's a taskbar?
My desktop (shrunk from the 1920x1200 native) ![]() J/K of course... I tend to keep my task bars on my Windows systems on the bottom just because I have so many computers that I use on a regular basis that it's too much of a pain to move them... my home systems both run Gentoo most of the time so nothing works the way you windows folks are used to - it's awesome though ![]()
