I can tell you are a guy who doesn't sweat the details
seriously - if that is all you want to share about the car, then you should just read the Edmunds.com reviews about them or something, because we will have no idea if it is a good buy or not without the price, mileage, trim level, overall condition at the very least.

i think he may be just asking if they are good cars... my dad owned a 92 accord ex, it was pretty reliable and good on gas mileage but the automatic tranny went out on it and he replaced it and now my sister owns it.. so now its a POS shit cuz her dumass bf crashed it and didnt fix it right so the lights are all out of alignment and it just looks weird and it doesnt run too good. but before the crash it was pretty good and it had a good heater and it handled alright as far as i could see in the snow and rain. very slow tho. i also had a friend that had a 92 accord and he would try and play race driver in it even tho it was auto and he blew the tranny twice. so dont switch from d2 and all that shit if it auto.. overall i would buy it if i were you because its cheap and reliable and good on gas mileage. just make sure everything's working lol
I own one it hasn't given me too many problems. starts up everytime, it's easy to work on and when you need parts they are always quite plentiful at the junkyards. the door handles in the inside tend to be a bit flimsy and break easily. I've noticed many of them have the broken door handles lol. try to avoid the automatics if you can.

it was my first car and i abused the shit out of it it ran perfect except the mounts broke from excessive driving
GREAT CAR overall I would buy one again

the rotors are hub over rotor design. the rotors are pressed on to the hub thats why they were so hard to remove lol.

i felt so safe in my friends 92 accord ex.
it was one of those car that could go in and get out of any sticky situation.... i recall it going through several snowbanks, over curbs...into people..(jokes)
they are well built, easy and cheap to maintain, relatively good on gas.
the car wasn't retired due to dead engine, burning oil or electrical problems... the wheel fell of because he drove it with a bad wheel bearing/ball joint for over a year . hahahah
I'll contribute, even though the OP stated the car is now sold.
Mine has 346k on it and I neglect the shit out of it. Set the cruise at 60 and get 36 mpg. The thing is a tank. I drive it to work every day and to hunt/fish/rehab-a-house whenever the need arises. The thing has been on and off-road plenty. I own a 5MT LX coupe and I'm getting fairly bored trying to "drive it 'til the wheels fall off". I highly recommend a CB7 for a well-built disposable car.

not that weird.. there are a lot more similarities than that.
my best friend has a 91 cb7.. DOUBLE salvage he bought for 200$ and at this point.. besides needing the core support straightened out to get the front end all fitting together right.. its one hell of a car.
its an ex auto. but with the later f22 (i believe the 93 ex had a slighty more stout motor.. but small exhaust system than the 91 ex) so his STOCK drivetrain actually has some umph.. he just hit 200k on the auto trans and its just fine.. (little bit of the normal 4cyl auto shimmy shimmy shake when stopped but in gear)
throw some springs and struts.. some ebay special lighting (dirt dirt dirt cheap) and you'll be rollin jdm enough to be happy with it.
they aren't gutless.. persay.. its no h22.. but the f22 was a pretty no joke. straight forward set up.
he's dynoed stock at 122 to the wheels.. from a stock rated 142(ish) from the top of my head.. thats not doin too bad.

that engine setup is exactly the same one i have, except mine is a 5speed. It has the f22a6 with the 90 exhaust setup. It's pretty fun on flat ground but seriously lacking going up any elevation.

yeah. i agree. he needs to swap out that auto he has. he still thinks he wants to race me.. and everytime.. i let him lead the start (not killin my 262k type one auto tranny to smoke an accord) then VIS opens up.. then 2nd gear hits.. nice chirp of the tires and bye bye.
but he's planning an h22 swap.. we're gonna see who get their car done first.
i have a head start.. but parts for his car are SOOOO much cheaper.. jdm folding mirrors are like 130 bucks on the ebizzle
