Electrical Issues

Today my car started doing some weird stuff the drivers side door open indicator on the dash would not go off even when the door was closed and then my speedometer stopped working,,,,,i love my car but im getting kinda discouraged...can anybody help me out here?

The Speedometer most likely is due to a bad vehicle speed sensor (vss). I dont know about the indicator light, but it is also a common problem, it also affects the seat belt presenter if you have a coupe.

Thanks for the info, im going to also check the under dash fuse number 13. I checked and it appears that both the speedo and the door indicator run on the same circuit that fuse #13 serves....
