I could roll my diesel...LOL. My legend is just beginning. Its all in pieces as I am preparing for a type II swap. But hey looks like there are a few of us in the right place...car club is bound to go down. Anyone in CO familiar with this swap? Curious as to any issues with the ecu.

WORD! I have been racking my brain over this ECU with the type II engine. Yeah I have considered the 3.5 and price wise its similar. But mounts and all the other fun stuff, I will go with the easier of the two. I appreciate the info on the ecu i will google that asap! My project should be done by mid march at best. I have been stockpiling parts with spare cash...and the motor in the one I got still runs...the dude thought he blew the motor...its a timing belt...it paid to go to auto tech school! But yea thanks for the help, I need it.

Not a prob at all! If you need any help wrenching on that beast, lemme know. I'm not a pro nor have I done too much work to a G2 Legend, but I've done a fair share of DIY on other cars... heh.
Were there any screwed-up valves when the T-belt went?

Why not do a type I engine with turbo....I can give you a ride and give you reason to do it. On the other hand you could even do a type I build up...I could help a bit as well! Good luck either way! KTW P.S. Do you guys know who drives the red cp and tan cp with large aftermarket wheels? We need to get more guys on here!

Well I would like to hang out also. I'm not so sure tha my legend is worthy of a meet event quite yet, but I will go to hang and meet some new peeps, maybe get some ideas on what to do to my car. It is currently a piece of shit!!! It has a white hood, trunk and rear bumper and the rest is gold with primer spots and its been sanded in preparation for paint. All by the previous owner that really didnt do a very good job. And the interior is half tan and half black and all covered in grease. Its bad. But in time it will look the way that Invisioned it when I bought it. But like I said i would like to meet some new peeps to talk shop with.

Hey, welcome to the forums. You've definitely come to the right place to talk shop... there's a lot of people here with a lot of knowhow.
Personally, I'm always up for a meet, especially when it's local. My car's pretty much stock but I do like to scope out others' rides and get ideas. I've added some stuff since the mini-meet back in December; Labrat's seen the '93-'95 gauges I've put in. But, yeah. I'm down for a meet pretty much any time I can get off of work. ![]()

Thanks man. So what part of town you live in? I'm here in the far north end. I see you have a coupe as well. Do you still have any of your stock parts? If you do let me know. I would like to start to rebuild this car as soon as possible and as soon as funds are available.
