Florida Meet Attempt v.toomanytocount
Ok Florida people, and hey, Georgia people too.
Time to try another meet. I have finals this week and then I'm free. So speak up everyone, when do we wanna do this? Since I am organizing it, and know the Tampa area well. I'm picking Tampa if that sounds good with everyone. Friday, Saturday, or Sunday works for me.

Well i'm gonna be in GA next week so it would have to bee the week after, but i do know that if my sister does in fact end up getting that car, i'm gonna have to go down there to pick it up for her. I'll keep you updated.

Still here - Anywhere between Ft. Meyers and Tampa will work for me - the 18th or 25th should work. But you never know with a wife and baby, ;-)
I'm sure if its in Tampa, hybirdgsr & 1991Ka8 will chime in. -Ed

How about if we set a firm date far enough in advance so that anyone interested can be there? What about June 28? That is far enough in advance for all to keep the date clear, but close enough to have something to look forward to. That is the weekend prior to the NALM meet ,so those of us in Florida not going to the NALM would have reason to put some special attention into our cars. 93LegendSedan could name the meeting place as he is familiar with Tampa. Somewhere out by I-75 by Brandon or New Tampa
would be an easy find for everyone. It would be awesome to do a photo shoot out by the Skyway or by a lake somewhere. I am new to this site but would like to meet some Florida A-L enthusiasts and see your cars. What do you guys think?

Sounds good to me.
 i tried to plan the last meet we had in Tampa and there where only 3 legends to show up. Everyone seemed to fall away at the last minute. There really wasn't much communication(although i gave everyone my phone #. Either nobody called me or if i called them they didn't pick up. Did have 1 or 2 to call, but that was it. Maybe i'll get a trailer and bring both the G1 and G2 with me. I'm gonna post it up again just in case... my 2 #'s i can be contacted by are 850-693-0371 (alltel cell) and 352-874-8361 (sprint/nextel cell) If y'all don't hear from me on here for a while just send me a text on the 850 # or call me or something. Either way, i'm game for a meet long as i'm up to date on what's going on. My name is Adam |
