After speaking to BlingTing, Guyad & a few other Southeast Legend owners / Enthusiasts, we have decided that we would like to try for a 'Quad-State' Legend Meet! (GA, FL, AL, & TN)
Although being kinda' close to Christmas, it would be nice to plan for this meet to happen sometime between today, 12/11, & no later than the end of January 2008. We'd like to know who would be interested in making this happen, where y'all would like to meet, and whether or not we should consider a restaurant or just do our own thing for grub. (ie; a cookout/bbq, bring sandwiches & what-not, etc.). There are surely enough of us in the Southeast to make this happen, AND,... with a good turnout, in order to make this a successful Meet! So let's get the ball rolling, and please throw your ideas into the pot! (and by all means, if anyone has extra Legend parts, bring those along also)!! DATE: PLACE: (ie: ATL, Valdosta, Ocala, Chattanooga, etc.) Food Ideas: One or Two day meet? Any other ideas? Wanna add another State? Wanna delete a State? Bring along the wife or girlfriend. (not both please), and Let's Do This!!

I say Atlanta. It is the most central place, I think. Plus then I don't have to drive anywhere!

Hell... Everything's at 4-6 hours from me.
But the ATL crew knows that I'll make that drive where ever it is. Florida MeetDaryll

If you are going for FL people you only have ATL, Macon, Valdosta as your options. I don't know about TN members willing to drive to Valdosta. If you stay in ATL you should look at Andretti Speed Lab, Dave & Buster's, Etc. for spots. Indoors, food, large parking lots, and usually easy interstate access. These are the ideal features for a winter meet.
Good Luck! |

I think A good spot for a legend meet In Atlanta would be the carter center There Is plenty of free parking they serve food there (not the greatest but its cheap) There is also the japanese garden, picknic area and a fishing pond (also free) The museum prices are 8 dollars a ticket but you dont have to buy one to take advantage of the free stuff.
This Is my idea If we choose the right dates like a weekend with no other events going on. I can check I work there it should be a good spot to hang out (no racing or drifting please) I dont want to be tempted to show out. I just got this job and I want to keep It. ![]()

dammit..how come i am JUST now finding this thread? After me and EZgoin talked about this on the phone i looked for the whole following week in the meet section and didn't see anything. I think ATL would be a good central location for everyone to meet at. Not sure what everyone is thinking about for a date, but i think that we should set this for far enough in advance that those of us that work full time jobs can schedule vactation time since everyone is coming from so far. Right now i have vacation scheduled for the last week in march.
