I am proud to report that the Mid-TN and Northern AL Legends represented to the max today. Nice to finally put some names to some faces and hang with my Legend brothers (and sisters) for an afternoon. Major props to Lee (sleeperlegendcp) for coming all of the way from the ATL even though he is Legend-less at this point and thanks to Herman (acurate06) for coming up with the idea & the Krispy-Kremes, even though nobody ate any.
Thanks again to everybody that came out today and we WILL do this again soon. I strongly recommend that everybody that came today try to make the Tuscaloosa meet---if you think THIS meet was good, we can do better! Later---PS: Nupe, shoulda been there dawg---

The meet was great! 7 Legends were there. We even managed to stop a guy with a red/tan 93 6-spd he want to sell. He has two red/tan 93 6-spds and an auto 92. He should pop up on here. We all chilled in the parking lot and talked Legends, then headed over to a great sports bar to grab some grub. Everyone left after eating. When we got to the restaurant we ended up parking next to a Green/Tan GS. I don't know if anyone else saw it, but by the time I left there was a brand new TL and another Blk/Blk GS. Then TN and AL boys have it together! Come on ATL!! Where you at?
Later! Lee Added: Check out my drive home!My Drive Home! And Please post some pics! Last edited by sleeprlegendcp : 11-03-03 at 12:20 PM. |

We need to start planning this next meet to make it even better! That was a nice Legend stevieray. Great work! Good luck with your future Legend Lee. The Legend with the nice chrome wheels was great also. John, come to huntsville on the 15th and we'll race. Picked a race on the way home with a yellow cobra, but got stuck in traffic. Nice meeting all of you all!

That meet was the $hit! I only thought there would be about 4 or 5 of us, but it was good to see many more come out. I'm still mad about that dude bringing his red coupe to the meet in that sorry condition. i wanted to piss on that ride just to wash some of the dirt off. stevieray, your car was the $hit! i'm now motivated to put some serious work into my ride especially since the mileage is still ok. if you came from out of state, i hope you guys made it back in one piece!

Next meet we need to recruit! Lee, Did you leave a card on the Blk/Blk GS??? I would of loved to see that one. Knarf, your car is in great shape, and mileage don't mean a thang with Legends, (where do you think the name came from) Supe the Legend up. I loved seeing all the sedans, (big-body-lover) but that 2-door was great! The guy with the red 2-door needs to recognizzze what he's got. I little work and that thing would be top quality. And we can't forget the remote-control car dude. Maybe he will see what life is about and get a Legend!!!
94HotLegend, how fast were you going??? I was doing 80-90 and you were way up ahead! |

If everybody will PM or e-mail me with their phone # & e-mail addy, I'll put together a mail-out & call-out list so we can keep this thing going on. I'm thinking we need to make this a quarterly thing and meet again in late Jan. or early Feb.---any thoughts on that? BTW, I'm in for the Tucsaloosa meet and I hope everybody else is as well.
Whoever took pics yesterday (Herman? 94HOTLGND?), please post them up SAP or e-mail them to me at steve.dunn@state.tn.us and I'll get em up. Thanks again to everyone for a great time yesterday. Later---

Great fun! Im down for Alabama. This time someone else bring the dounuts.
If anyone wants me to, ill check on hotel rooms. I dont know if everyone was planning staying down there for the evening or going to the meet and going home. Let me know. Ill have photos posted as soon as they are developed. I'm spending too much money on my legend to buy a digital camera
