Okay fellas, heres what I came up with <=mind you that I'm only 77 miles away from our proposed initial meeting place
![]() Looking at the demographics (In hoping to accommodate Tyson) our planned Sundays event are as follows; >We all meet up at "Santa Monica Place" in Santa Monica California between 10 and 11 am. >Cruise Pacific Coast Highway (1) to Mugu Rock for the photo ops. >Cruise back on Pacific Coast Highway (1) to Kanan Dume Road [N9] to start the canyon run. >Lunch somewhere either Agoura Hills or Calabasas. If we can all agree to this then we'll do the following steps... 1) Close this thread. 2) Start an official '08 SoCal spring meet thread. 3) Detailed location info., directions, maps, etc., etc. 4) List of attendees. Let's hear it...

Kanan Dume is pretty hot, it's got lots of twists and turns and hills, Malibu doesn't have a lot to look at. and there is a nifty seafood place at the end called "Paradise Cove". Oh wait i just realized you guys are talking about starting in santa monica and heading UP kanan, down is waaaaaaaaaaaay better heh. I make that drive a lot.

We're trying to accommodate Tyson who's coming from Arizona, he'll just take I-10W all the way to Santa Monica and meet everybody at "Santa Monica Place" otherwise, we'll all meet up somewhere in between Agoura Hills and Calabasas off 101 Fwy.
Lemme edit them maps before posting it here, please standby ![]()

10W -> 405N -> 101E that would put him at the top of kanan and frankly not that much further if using the freeways.
At any rate I'd love to go either direction, as long as you guys don't make total fun of my ghetto legend I'm working on it, just re-tinted the windows and am missing 11 interior pieces (I hope only 11, I'm pretty sure) for my black conversion. I'm mostly happy with my dash atm which for some odd reason occupied a lot of time in tweaking. Man I wish I had more time to work on my car...

i dont know what Ferjie was thinking, but looking at google maps, this area may be a good place to meet up
Santa Monica, CA, United States of America - Google Maps its not near the pier, and just take the 10 till it turns into the 1, and then make a left. it seems to have alot of vacant parking. thoughts? |

Alright, I've got two route options...
Option #1 We all meet at "Santa Monica Place" in Santa Monica CA. between 10-11 AM. ![]() We all then proceed/cruise on PCH (1), lots of photo ops along the way. ![]() 1st canyon rd we're going to come across. ![]() Continue on PCH (1) until we hit these two canyon roads, [N9] Kanan Dume Rd for me. ![]() We'll do lunch at the end of canyon run. Route option #2 coming up; editing map.

Canyon route option #2
We all meet here between 10-11 AM top of Kanan road, off 101 freeway. ![]() Head down Kanan Rd for the canyon run. ![]() We have a choice of taking this route or straight down Kanan Dume Road. ![]() Ultimately down to PCH (1) and we'll do lunch at Paradise Cove Beach Cafe We'll discuss photo ops over lunch.
