NOPI Roll Call!!!

This is the official thread for those that will be attending the 2005 NOPI Nationals.

Here is the info:

Date: Sept 17-18 2005

Location: Atlanta Motor Speedway

Website: NOPI Nationals 2005

The speedway announced last week that they will be ready for NOPI after the damage from the tornado.

I need each person that plands to attend to post up with the following information:
Number of people?
Entering car?
Where are you staying?
That should be enough for now.

If you are attending the show it is usually better to enter your car. If you can find someone to ride with you it is actually cheaper to enter your car then pay for 2 people to just get in. This gives you safe parking in the show and helps us represent the Legends. I drove a stock Legend last year.

As last year I will open my house up for people to stay here. I will also have my camper outside. This gives us plenty of space. Here is a list of the beds I have:
(Inside)
1 Queen bed
2 Couches
Leather Recliner
(Screened in Porch)
2 Twin Beds
(Camper)
1 King Bed
1 Queen Bed
1 Single Bed
1 Narrow Bed

I also have tons of floor space for sleeping bags, and plenty of room in the back yard for tents. On top of this I will have a deal set up with the Hampton Inn in Peachtree City if it looks like we will need it.

Saturday night after NOPI we will be having a cookout at my house. I will do hamburgers, Vegie Burgers, Fries, Chips, Dips, Etc. I usually pick up some Bud Light and soft drinks. At the cookout I do set out a "donation cup" to help me cover the costs.

Much more information will be added as time goes on. I still have to call NOPI and set us up with a group so we can start registering. There is plenty to be done.

If you find someone to ride with you, we will have some without cars, then it is worth it. It cost $70 to enter your car in the show. With this you get passes for 2 people and free parking inside with the Legends. Or you can spend $40 per person + parking to walk around in the heat and have your car get door dings and covered in gravel dust. It is your call.

I thought you were crazy to go for that. I made the mistake of not sleeping friday night and I was sick all day Saturday. Not this year. I will be going to sleep, and I will probably wake up to find Diaz passed out in the backseat of some Legend. Maybe a Coupe this time!

Lee, what I meant by not worth puting my coupe up, is that it doesnt look as good as other's here in the board, mine is stock all the way to the bone man, not one single upgrade. and plus....it has rust...which the guy never told me...but yeah...it has rust...so I wouldnt want to put it up so they could see the rust on it lol. I wont be driving my 6 speed over there, I'll be driving my automatic, which will still look a bit rough (nothing compared to last year though), so I wont be worried about dings and gravel dust.

I'll more than likely be there, but probably just for the day . I'll be driving my Legend, but unless I get it painted (stilll possible) before then, I won't be entering it. Same deal as Eliot.

I'll be there with my Legend and I will be entering it I will also be bringing my friend with his Teg but he's not entering we'll be stayin @ a friends house...!!!
