Didn't mean for you to catch feelings over Macco. I just never herd of a 1 week paint job, but if your now saying a week and half that seems to make more sense.

My car is getting primmed today, then it gets 3 base coats and 4 coats of clear. They took their time with the prep work because with a black car everything must be perfect. I should have it back by Friday.

Yea, I think a normal paint job is 3 and 3 but I want that thick ass glossy shell.

I posted an event notice on the Lehigh Valley craigslist. We'll see if anyone around me responds/ shows up.

It seems to me that around here the only people driving Legends are pretty unaware as to the rarity/status of their nice whips. But, there may be a couple Legendphiles around here still...

that's sick...a normal paint job is 1 base 1 clear coat...I've never heard of 3 base coats and 3 clear...thats gonna be thick ass glossy paint....

how much that set you back?

About $3500 with 4 coats of German clear coat and 3 coats of PPG #0051 Lambo Black.

My surprise is that I wont be driving a Legend. As of this morning, auto door locks and headlights are out and I cant get the hood open. Cable release is not working. This is NOT fun. If this continues shes getting the sledgehammer treatment.

I actually got out and washed my car this past weekend. My Wife was amazed. I havent washed her by hand since the Thanksgiving meet. The paint is in horrible shape. Cancer is spreading and shes going to need a good compound rub out to get shiney again. Maybe some "ice" treatment may help. Wish me luck boys.
