Spring Toronto Meet?

Since it has been relatively hard to get a decent turn out... (or any turn out at all) in the past, i figure we should start planning early.
Whos in for a meet somewhere in the GTA in spring - Mid April / May?
Previous meets: October '06 in Markham, and November '07 in Scarborough.

Pretty much goes like this:
We determine where we will meet (usually a nice empty parking lot) and gather there. We check out eachothers cars for an hour or two, and then head out for food or drinks or something, hopefully an okay distance away so we can go for a cruise. Other ideas will be entertained.

You guys gonna think I'm crazy but I might be there..I will be travelling twice across Canada this year once with the Legend which should be this spring. I just got a sweet job with a clothing company and I am the distributor for Canada. We base our line out of Vancouver but I have to show product and set up accounts coast to coast. I'm in Manitoba/Sask now heading west. Will have to backtrack but the car came up through Winnipeg border crossing...I will be in the GTA end of April, beginning of May.

Now that I'm back in Toronto for a while, I'll definately be there. My wife is expecting our first child at the end of April, so unless the meet so happens to fall on the same day she goes into labor, I should be there.

OK, LISTEN UP TORONTO PEEPS....I think if we're going to get a decent turnout this spring, we need to delegate someone to be responsible for organizing the meet.

This person will keep all of our (Toronto members) contact information/phone numbers and send out a mass email to all of us a few weeks prior to the planned and agreed meet time with details, location, etc because Lord knows how hard it is to get people to commit over the forums. There are a lot of TO members that don't check the forums as often as others and I'm certain they would love to attend a meet.

So lets figure out who wants this responsibility then PM the meet organizer our contact details.
