chrome exhaust tips
I cant find any exhaust tips for my OEM muffler anywhere in Toronto. I have looked just about everywhere.
Does anyone know .... are there any made that fit ? Are they cheap chrome or stainless ? Who sells them and what do they cost ? Thanks |

I've seen some on ebay, not recently though. I have no idea on quality either, but the fitment was portrayed/stated to be able to fit the OEM muffler. I think they were @ $30 US.

I have them and they are chrome. They do fit our oval shaped tips and since our tips are angled for condensation and the chrome tips are rolled straight, you might want to drill a hole near the underside edge for the condensation. I haven't done this but just a thought, you'll see if you get them but yeah, they're worth and fit and there is no other tips out there for us. |

Here's a pic of them on my 94 Coupe, I had them on my '93 Coupe, then I installed a Greddy exhaust so I saved these tips. They came in handy when I bought my '94 that still had the oem exhaust on her. But don't you worry, I'm in the current GB for both the Remus & Stromung!
Stu, forget about the tips and get in on either the Stromung or Remus GB! ![]() |

drove to Walmart in Buffalo, and they didn't have anything that fit, but then went to Pepboys and found them ! They fit so tight I dont have to screw them on. Perfect length too ! I was soooo happy. Drove home all the way tring to decide if they should go on now or in the spring. When I finished the 2 hour drive I am heard what sounds like an exhaust rattle. It better NOT be my muffler !
Anyone know what Acura charges for a muffler ? |

Ditto on the rust comment. I had a pair of 'em the first winter the car was in Pennsylvania where they use mountains of salt to combat the snow and ice. Didn't last two months before they started showing signs of rust. Go with a stainless exhaust from Stromung or one of their competitors and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Rust.....
That is why I live in California, dont have to worry about the two sets of rims and tires, nor do I have to worry about the rust of the car. I am so glad I left the Mid West and anything that has to deal with that type of weather. I will take the Sun anyday or all that stuff. ![]() |
